Authentic Entertainment Promotes Three Programming Executives

January 29, 2019—New Authentic Entertainment President Helga Eike has made her first executive moves since joining the studio last summer, naming Sara Reddy, Executive Vice President, Current Programming and promoting two others.

Brian Pargac will now serve as Vice President, Development and Adriana Garcia has been named Director, Development. Authentic Entertainment, a division of Endemol Shine North America, produces such series as “Trading Spaces” (TLC), “Flipping Out” (Bravo), “Best Thing I Ever Ate” (Food) and recently announced “Listing Impossible” for CNBC.

“Authentic has always been a place that cultivates and promotes home-grown talent,” says Eike. “Sara, Brian, and Adriana have all put in the hours, and proven themselves tremendously gifted as storytellers and executives. Sara’s deft touch with characters, Brian’s innate sense of story, and Adriana’s out of the box approach to content put them at the top of their game. It’s a privilege to have them as part of the team.”

Added Reddy, “I have worked for Authentic off and on for over a decade now and I’ve always considered it my home. I am genuinely thrilled to be overseeing current programming now and to be working closely with Helga, who shares my passion for telling stories that connect with audiences.”

With over a decade of experience in unscripted television, Reddy has developed and produced some of the most indelible characters and unforgettable hits in reality TV, including “Toddlers and Tiaras,” “American Chopper” and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” among many other successful series.

As an executive producer, Reddy has produced hundreds of hours of content, and her passion for storytelling has resulted in programming for networks such as TLC, Discovery, Animal Planet, A&E, MTV, VH1, Showtime, ABC and CBS.

Reddy, who first joined Authentic in 2007, as a story producer and then served as EP on both “Toddlers and Tiaras” and “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” for TLC. Most recently Reddy oversaw development for Authentic, leading efforts for the just announced CNBC series “Listing Impossible.”

Pargac, who was named Vice President, Development, is a writer and producer with over 15 years of unscripted experience. Pargac, who was formerly the Co-EP of “Flipping Out” on Bravo, has been with Authentic for six years producing and developing projects for Bravo and The History Channel.

Pargac has extensive knowledge of both field and post-production, ranging from his early days traveling for FOX on “Trading Spouses” to his hours in the edit bay as Co-EP of Bravo’s hit series “Flipping Out.” He has also served as a producer on such series “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” “The Real Housewives of Dallas,” and “Kitchen Nightmares” with Gordon Ramsay.

Garcia, who has been named Director of Development, began her career in post- production as an assistant editor, but moved into producing reality television. She’s produced such series as FYI’s "Waterfront House Hunting" and TLC’s "My First Home." Garcia recently produced Authentic’s digital series "Breaking Bass" for Complex. She then moved into helping build and establish a branded and digital department within Authentic Entertainment.
