Azteca Brings MasterChef To Mexico From Sunday June 28

May 14, 2015 - Azteca, one of the two largest producers of Spanish language television programming in the world, announced that in partnership with Endemol Shine Latino (a division of Endemol Shine North America), they are producing in Mexico the program world's most famous kitchen: MasterChef will give the opportunity to the best amateur cooks to earn the title of MasterChef.

Azteca and Endemol Shine Latino agree on productions and high quality formats to give the Mexican audience new entertainment options.

MasterChef is now broadcast in over 200 territories around the world through sales of finished programs, the format also allowed a number of successful releases including Junior MasterChef and CelebrityMasterChef. Junior MasterChef has reached the 19 territories and was the top new unscripted series primetime broadcast TV in the US when it aired on Fox during the 2013-14 season, receiving a commission to produce a third season before it began producing the second. In Spain, the final episode of Junior MasterChef 1 was seen by 4.4 million viewers, with a share of 22% in RTVE.

With a great culinary tradition, Mexico is the fifth country in Latin America to bring this format to the screen after Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Colombia

The program can be enjoyed through El Trece signal from Sunday June 28, at 21:00 hours. Throughout 17 (I think they are 15) programs, we will witness a competition between the 18 best amateur cooks who were chosen after casting done in Mexico and who will face a panel of three renowned chefs and experts culinary arts, they are: Benito Molina, Betty Vazquez and Adrian Herrera.

MasterChef will be hosted by actress and Anette Michell, known for his work on soap operas Azteca as a Man, Woman of Judas and family secrets are looking for.
