Ardaban And Leftfield Pictures Team Up For New Series Treasure House

Competition reality series from creators of “Chopped” and “Pawn Stars” available to domestic and International marketplace.

Ardaban, the recently formed Shine America label, is teaming with Leftfield Pictures for the upcoming reality competition series “Treasure House,” it was announced today at MIPCOM by Ardaban CEO Chachi Senior and Leftfield Pictures Owner and Founder Brent Montgomery.

“Treasure House,” an Ardaban original format, is now being sold to the U.S. and International TV marketplaces. Both Senior and Montgomery are serving as executive producers.

Leftfield Pictures, known for such hit series as “Pawn Stars,” “American Restoration” and “Counting Cars," will oversee day-to-day production on “Treasure House."

Initially launched last spring, Ardaban is a dedicated entertainment format production company whose output is produced in conjunction with Shine America and distributed globally via Shine International. Ardaban is led by Senior, who formerly was Co-President at IAC’s Notional, where he helped launch successful formats such as “Chopped,” “Winsanity!” and “No Kitchen Required.” Ardaban recently named Dave Noll as Chief Creative Officer and Cleve Keller as Chief Development Officer.

“Treasure House has everything that viewers crave in a big reality competition series,” says Senior. “The combining of the Senior-Keller-Noll global format expertise, along with Leftfield’s mastery as pioneers of the transactional space, is a guaranteed recipe for success. I am thrilled to be working together with Brent and Leftfield Pictures.”

Montgomery added, "Incorporating the element of competition is an exciting extension of a genre that remains compelling and popular with audiences around the world. We're eager to collaborate with Ardaban to produce this show which raises the stakes of 'hidden treasures' television."

“Treasure House” is a reality competition series that uncovers hidden treasures in everyday homes. In every episode, three highly-regarded appraisers each select a family that believes it has found valuable items in their home. After choosing a family, the appraisers put each of the home’s apparent treasures up for auction. The household with the highest bids at auction takes home an additional $50,000.
