Mauricio Piccone, Executive Vice President, Endemol Shine Latino
Mauricio Piccone serves as Executive Vice President of Endemol Shine Latino, the Spanish-language division of Endemol Shine North America.
Piccone, who is based in Miami and reports to Endemol Shine Latino President Laurens Drillich, oversees all production and sales initiatives for the division in both Mexico and U.S. (Hispanic).
Piccone originally joined Endemol in 2010 as Senior Vice President of Endemol Latino. He recently oversaw the launch of the division’s first scripted series in the U.S., “El Vato” for NBC Universo (currently in production for its second season) and he’s overseeing production of ES Latino’s upcoming series based on Puerto Rican urban music star Nicky Jam for Telemundo.
Piccone has extensive production experience, having overseen production of numerous successful series in both Mexico and the U.S. including “Mira Quien Baila” (Univision & Televisa), “Yo Me Llamo” (Telemundo), “A Todo O Nada” (Azteca), “Impractical Jokers” (Turner) and “Q’Viva” featuring Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony (Univision).
Piccone joined Endemol Latino from Endemol Mexico in 2002, where he served as an Executive Producer on regional Spanish-language versions of “Fear Factor,” “Blind Faith” and “All You Need is Love.” Prior to Endemol Mexico, Piccone was a showrunner/executive producer on “Mexico’s Next Top Model” and “Ya Es Mediodia en China” for Sony Entertainment Television, as well as on Discovery’s “Rides Latin American.
Piccone has a degree in Communications from Mexico’s Universidad Del Nuevo Mundo and now resides in Miami, Florida.
