Kevin Ivey, Vice President, Research and Insights, Endemol Shine North America
Kevin Ivey has served as Vice President, Research and Insights, Endemol Shine North America, since June 2015.
Ivey oversees Endemol Shine North America’s in-house research and audience insights division, taking lead on all research analysis and tracking for the company’s North American operations. He initially joined Shine America in June 2013, where he oversaw creating a new research department and supplying strategic research data to the company's scripted, unscripted, digital, publicity, Shine Latino and Shine 360˚ teams.
Prior to joining Shine America, Ivey had served as Vice President, Program Research for Syfy and Chiller in both New York and Los Angeles since April 2012. Ivey led the network's research teams in all program and multi-platform research analysis and tracking. He worked closely with both network’s scheduling, acquisitions, programming and development teams providing actionable ratings data and analysis.
Before joining Syfy and Chiller, Ivey had served as Vice President, Multi-platform research at Oprah Winfrey Network in Los Angeles. Ivey, who was with OWN from April 2010 to April 2012, oversaw all program, primary and multi-platform research, analysis and tracking for OWN and Oprah.com.
From May 2003 through April 2010, Ivey worked in a variety of roles for the ABC Television Network, including his final role as Executive Director, Multi-platform Research.
Ivey holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications Management from Howard University and currently resides in Los Angeles.
