Juliana Algañaraz has served as CEO of Endemol Shine Brasil, a division of Endemol Shine North America, since 2015.
Algañaraz leads the largest independent production studio in Brasil, producers of local versions of such series as “MasterChef,” “The Wall" and “Deal or No Deal.” Endemol Shine Brasil has programming with all of the main broadcasters and platforms in Brasil.
Algañaraz created the company's Licensing and Branded Content team shortly after being named CEO, and Endemol Shine Brasil now has more than 300 licensed products in the Brasilian marketplace. Alongside top ad agencies and local and multi-national companies, Algañaraz has developed new business models for branded content, turning client messaging into innovative new entertainment formats. Branded Endemol Shine Brasil series include “Cabelo Pantene – o reality,” sponsored by P&G and “Eisenbahn Mestre Cervejeiro,” from Heineken.
Algañaraz began her television career in 1996 at Channel 13 in Argentina and has held positions with Discovery Communications, Rede TV ! (Manager of Acquisitions and New Content), Fox Latin American Channels (Director of Operations and Production Services) and Porta dos Fundos, one of the biggest Youtube channels in Brasil, where she served as CEO.
