Beloved Choreographer and Dancer Toni Costa Joins as First-Ever Contestant Mentor
Hosted by Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza, Univision’s Mega Dance Competition Premieres January 2020
(November 19, 2019) – Univision is shining its dancing shoes and preparing to take over the Sunday night dance floor with the January return of its megahit dance competition, “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” (MQB or Look Who’s Dancing) hosted by Chiquinquirá Delgado and Javier Poza. Returning to the judging panel for this new edition are the former Miss Universe and winner of MQB’s fifth season, Dayanara Torres; creative director and profession dancer, Casper Smart; and Mexican actress, professional dancer and singer, Bianca Marroquín.
In this special edition of MQB, eight top Latino celebrities will show off their best dance moves week after week, leaving it all on the stage for the chance to ultimately win a grand prize donation to the charity of their choice in a season that promises to be faster and more intense than ever. The celebrity cast will be announced later this year.
For the first time ever, the show will have a mentor help contestants perfect their techniques and improve their performances week after week. The beloved dancer and choreographer Toni Costa will assume this new role and will also provide real-time coaching backstage to those that fall at risk of elimination each week after being evaluated by the MQB’s judges.
This seven-episode season will air Sunday at 8 p.m ET/PT (7 p.m. CT) on Univision beginning early January.
MQB All Stars is a co-production of Univision and Endemol Shine Boomdog for Univision.
