Endemol Shine North America Renews Deal with Georgie Hurford-Jones
September 21, 2018—Endemol Shine North America has renewed award-winning producer and TV executive Georgie Hurford-Jones’ contract and named her to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Unscripted Original Series & Specials.
Hurford-Jones, who has been with Endemol Shine North America since June 2015, will continue to oversee the studio’s successful “MasterChef” franchise, where she serves as executive producer on both hit FOX series “MasterChef” and “MasterChef Junior.”
Additionally, Hurford-Jones is currently helping lead production efforts on Endemol Shine’s upcoming series “Family Food Fight” for ABC and will oversee all of the studio’s upcoming unscripted specials. Hurford-Jones, who was formerly SVP, Unscripted Programming, reports to DJ Nurre, EVP, Unscripted Original Programming, Endemol Shine North America.

Hurford-Jones has been responsible for some of the top unscripted formats in the world over the last decade, serving as an executive producer on FOX’s “MasterChef” and “MasterChef Junior” and Endemol Shine’s recent ground-breaking series Best.Cover.Ever, for YouTube.
Prior to joining Endemol Shine, Hurford-Jones served as an executive producer and oversaw NBC’s hit “America’s Got Talent” after launching ITV’s BAFTA Award-winning “Britain’s Got Talent,” while serving as Senior Vice President of Simon Cowell’s Syco TV. Hurford-Jones was also formerly in charge of ITV’s award-winning UK series “Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway” and “Ant & Dec’s Gameshow Marathon."
Hurford-Jones was also a producer on the Emmy Award-winning Channel 4 series, “So Graham Norton.” In addition to her success in live television formats, she has vast experience in producing documentaries.
