Kirk Anderson Named Senior Vice President, Production & Operations At Authentic Entertainment
January 25, 2018 - Authentic Entertainment, a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America, has named Kirk Anderson Senior Vice President, Production & Operations, it was announced today by Authentic Entertainment CEO Lauren Lexton.
Anderson will work closely with Lexton and Authentic's EVP of Production and Content, Jeffrey Weaver, to oversee production and operations efforts for Authentic, the Emmy Award-winning production studio behind some of the biggest reality shows of the last decade including "Toddlers and Tiaras," "Here Come's Honey Boo Boo," "Flipping Out," "Ace of Cakes" and the upcoming return of "Trading Spaces" for TLC.
"These are exciting times in the content business, and I'm thrilled to have Kirk join the Authentic team," says Lexton. Anderson formerly was with parent company Endemol Shine North America, serving the last 2 years as Vice President, Unscripted Productions, where he produced and oversaw delivery of many of the studio's top unscripted series including "Billion Dollar Buyer" (CNBC), "Restaurant Startup" (CNBC), "Tabatha Takes Over"(Bravo) and "Minute to Win It" (GSN). Anderson originally joined Shine America in 2012 (now Endemol Shine North America) as Executive Director of Production.
Prior to joining Endemol Shine, Anderson worked as a producer on such series as "Dancing With the Stars" (ABC), "The Apprentice" (NBC), "The Real Gilligan's Island" (TBS), "The Contender" (ESPN), "Bridezillas" (WeTV) and "The Bachelor" (ABC).
