Ryan Seacrest Productions Appoints Teri Kennedy As Executive Vice President, Development & Original Unscripted Programming

March 2, 2016 - Ryan Seacrest Productions (RSP) announced today that Emmy® award-winning producer Teri Kennedy has been appointed Executive Vice President, Development and Original Unscripted Programming for the production company, as part of its new strategic partnership with Endemol Shine North America (Endemol Shine). RSP’s unscripted division and Endemol Shine announced their new partnership last year, which officially commenced on January 1, 2016.

Kennedy has more than 20 years of experience in the production and development of unscripted series; including live television, talk shows,competition, documentary, docu-series, specials, formats, recreation and strips on ABC, MTV, NBC, FOX, E! Discovery, USA, Bravo and Oxygen. Shewill be responsible for developing, formatting and running new nonfiction series, and managing and overseeing all creative and logistic elements during casting, active production and post-production on a day-to- day basis for new RSP unscripted shows.

Most recently, she was head of current production for Oxygen Media. She served as the network's production executive for "Snapped", "Best Ink," and "The Face". She began her career as a freelance producer working on big series such as “Survivor" and "The Real World."

Kennedy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. She lives in Los Angeles.

Ryan Seacrest Productions (RSP) was launched in 2006, and has since become an Emmy-winning entertainment production powerhouse creating unscripted, scripted and digital programming. RSP produces the E! hit cable series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and related spin-offs, as well as “E! Live from the Red Carpet" award shows, Bravo’s "Shahs of Sunset," and CMT¹s "I Love Kellie Pickler,” among other programs.

Additionally, RSP is producing "Shades of Blue,” a NBC drama series starring Jennifer Lopez, which has already been picked up for a second season. RSP’s scripted division is led by Nina Wass and is currently in an overall deal with CBS Studios.
