Giselle Blondet Comes To Telemundo To Host The Much Anticipated Reality Show "Gran Hermano" (Big Brother) Premiering Sunday, January 10th at 8PM/7C
December 14, 2015 - V personality Giselle Blondet comes to TELEMUNDO as host of the much anticipated reality show “Gran Hermano” (Big Brother), airing for the first time in Spanish-language television starting Sunday, January 10th at 8pm/7c. After concluding the auditions of over 5,000 Hispanics from across the country, a group of 14 strangers, seven men and seven women, commit to living together in a house sealed off from the outside world, equipped with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This new home will become a sociological experiment, where emotions are magnified, creating stories of love, hate, friendship, as well as tension and arguments during a three-month period. Every week, housemates will nominate each other and the audience will decide with their vote who will leave the house until the last house guest remains, winning a grand prize of $250,000. “Gran Hermano” is produced by Endemol Shine Latino, the Spanish-language division of Endemol Shine North America.

During “Gran Hermano,” viewers can enjoy an extended live programming schedule on TELEMUNDO’s screen dedicated exclusively to the development of the reality show, nominations and elimination of the housemates. In addition to the Sunday galas highlighting the best of each week and the last moments before participants are eliminated, there will be a daily recap at 11:30pm/10:30c. Every Wednesday at 7pm/6c, the network will air a special show featuring the intimate life of each housemate before they are nominated for elimination. Giselle Blondet is one of the most renowned Hispanic TV personalities recognized for hosting reality shows, TV specials and also as an actress in leading roles in telenovelas produced in Telemundo Puerto Rico. In 1997, the beautiful Puerto Rican became one of the first hosts of the hit morning show “Despierta América” (Univision). Her charismatic personality helped her become the host of the popular beauty pageant “Nuestra Belleza Latina” for seven consecutive years until 2013, when she decided to pursue new projects. Among these are the launch of her own jewelry line, her bed collection “Gi by Giselle Blondet,” and her second book entitled "Tengo 50...Y qué?!." Giselle is the founder of “Fundación Arte por la Paz” and was one of the celebrities who took part of “Heart Truth Red Dress Collection” during New York Fashion Week.
