Endemol Shine Boomdog
Endemol Shine Boomdog is the Spanish-language division of Endemol Shine North America, developing and producing original content for the U.S. Hispanic and Mexican TV markets. The division was formed in November 2017, when Endemol Shine Latino joined forces with Mexico City-based production company Boomdog to form Endemol Shine Boomdog.
Alejandro Rincon serves as CEO of Endemol Shine Boomdog, reporting to Endemol Shine Latino President Laurens Drillich, who oversees all of Endemol Shine’s business operations in Latin America.
Endemol Shine Boomdog produces some of the top unscripted and scripted series in the region, including “Mira Quien Baila” (Univision), “MasterChef Mexico” (TV Azteca), “Me Caigo de Risa” (Televisa), “Nicky Jam: El Ganador” (Netflix), "Se Rentan Cuartos" (Comedy Central Latinoamerica’), “Quien es la Mascara” (Televisa), “Subete a Mi Moto” (Amazon Prime), "LOL: Last One Laughing" (Amazon), "Cazatesoros" (TV Azteca), "Minuto Para Ganar VIP" (Televisa) and "Tu Cara Me Suena" (Univision). Upcoming series include "La Casa de los Famosos" (Telemundo) and "MasterChef Latino" (Estrella).
Endemol Shine Boomdog recently announced an overall development and production deal with acclaimed producer Gaston Pavlovich ("The Irishman," "Silence") and his Mexico City-based production company Fabrica de Cine. Boomdog also has overall development deals with award-winning actress and producer Kate del Castillo ("La Reina del Sur") and her team at Cholawood Productions, as well as with International Emmy-nominated producer Marie Leguizamo ("La Voz Kids," "Pequeños Gigantes").
The studio’s first scripted drama “El Vato,” which was aired on NBCUniverso in the U.S. and Netflix globally, was recently honored with an International Emmy Award. Boomdog, which has been the leading independent producer in Mexico for some time, has produced many of the country’s top unscripted and scripted series including “La Sopa,” “Mexico’s Next Top Model,” “El Incorrecto,” “Impractical Jokers Mexico,” “Fashion Police Mexico,” “Cambiame el Look” and many others.
