Analyst, Strategy & Business Development

Job Purpose: 

Endemol Shine North America seeks an Analyst, Strategy & Business Development.  This position will work for the SVP, Strategy & Business Development in a group that supports and accelerates the execution of strategic initiatives for the world’s largest independent television production company and its North American subsidiaries. The position will support execution of:

  • Scripted and Non-Scripted Television Production
  • Online Video and Other Digital Opportunities
  • Licensing and Franchise Management
  • Talent Rights and Management
  • Geographic Expansion (with focus on Mexico and Canada)

This is a highly visible role that includes interaction with top executives and will be responsible for the identification, analysis and development of strategic initiatives to drive the long-term profitability and growth of Endemol Shine North America’s business.  The role requires superior financial modeling skills as well as strategic and analytical thinking, business development, collaboration, communication and multi-tasking skills.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Research and construct financial/analytical models in support of potential acquisitions, other financial deals, and various strategic opportunities
  • Partner with leaders of each business unit to help prioritize and accelerate execution on the most valuable opportunities
  • Assist the team to drive key growth initiatives - particularly as it relates to new media platforms, new business creation and geographic expansion
  • Identify, define and analyze trends/strategies across the media landscape and the opportunities they present for Endemol North America and its portfolio companies
  • Create compelling, persuasive presentation materials to communicate recommendations and outcomes to senior leadership
  • Participate in variety of senior meetings with professionalism and credibility

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a strategic planning, investment banking or management consulting role
  • Strong, proven analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Strong problem solving skills (prioritization, critical thinking, hypothesis creation, etc.)
  • Ability to think pragmatically, not just theoretically, and drive execution of concepts
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and teamwork capabilities
  • Highly experienced in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA from a top business school preferred but not required
  • Market research experience a plus
  • Digital and Television Production and/or Marketing experience preferred

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
  • Must be 18 years or older
